An enjoyable time was had by all at the recent Glass with Class picnic held at the Botanic Gardens last weekend. The weather was held at bay (as where the numerous ducks) and there was even a few Freshers (first-time SUMS choristers). Our next concert will be Carmina Burana to be performed on Sun 24th May(@3pm) at Great Hall and Thurs 28th May (@7:30pm) at Verbruggen Hall. Purchase tickets here: Sunday or Thursday
The 50th Annual Festival of Carols which was held on Sat 6th and Sun 7th December. Kindly supported by a generous grant from the University, its featured a Brass ensemble, commissioned works from past Carolfests and a stunning array of carols from around the world.
